Driving Innovation with Local Display Production
Marelli Electronic Systems currently manufactures displays in six locations across Asia, Europe, and North America. Our facility in Hortolândia becomes the seventh, adding a key production hub for automotive displays in South America.

The Hortolândia plant spans 12,000 square meters and will produce displays alongside Clusters, Body Computers, ECUs, and PCBs for other Marelli businesses.

The plant’s capabilities include injection molding, screen printing, electronic board assembly (SMT – surface mounting technology), electrical testing, and final assembly. Planned investments of R$4.7 million will enhance production lines, including a new display assembly line.

The site’s 12 assembly lines will be expanded with the 13th dedicated to displays, capable of producing 130,000 units per year. Advanced quality controls such as X-ray inspection, automated test benches for touchscreens, and full traceability ensure top-tier quality and customer satisfaction.

This streamlined, integrated process boosts quality, optimizes logistics, and supports continuous improvement, delivering both high-quality products and economic benefits.
